This exhaust manifold kit replaces the warp-prone factory exhaust manifolds with a high-silicon ductile iron casting and an upgraded fastening system to permanently resolve chronic exhaust tick and gasket failure. Direct-fit for 2009–2024 Ram 1500 DS, 2009–2018 Ram 2500 DJ, 2013–2018 Ram 3500 D2, and 2011–2015 Ram 3500 DC equipped with 5.7L HEMI engines. The 5.7L HEMI engine generates extreme exhaust gas temperatures, causing the factory cast-iron manifolds to undergo rapid, severe thermal expansion and contraction. Because the OEM mounting design restricts this natural movement, the rear manifold bolts experience excessive shear stress, eventually snapping off flush with the cylinder head, creating a highly audible exhaust tick and compromising the exhaust gasket seal.
