Up Pipes Built to Seal and Stay Sealed

Factory up pipes leak. The 7.3L's donut-style gaskets get cooked by heat cycles until the pipe ends chew out, and the 6.0L/6.4L's corrugated bellows crack from the same heat fatigue. The result is the same: a ticking exhaust leak through the firewall, lost boost, soft power, and black smoke. These stainless up pipes and bellowed kits fix it at the source so you do the job once.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do my factory up pipes leak?
Heat cycling. On the 7.3L the sealing gasket degrades and the pipe ends wear out; on the 6.0L/6.4L the factory bellows fatigue and crack. You'll usually hear a tick through the firewall and feel the lost power and boost.
Bellowed or non-bellowed — which should I get?
Bellowed kits delete the failure-prone factory gasket and let the pipe expand and contract with heat, so the seal holds long-term. Do it bellowed once and you're not back in there in a couple years.
Do they come with gaskets and hardware?
The kits include the gaskets and hardware listed on each product. Check the product page for exactly what's in the box.
Is this a hard install?
It's more involved than a bolt-on — the turbo has to come off, and the connections get tightened in order so everything seals. Many owners have a shop handle it.
Will these add power?
They restore the boost and flow a leaking factory pipe was costing you; the high-flow versions open up flow further. Get the right part the first time.
