This fuel primer bulb sealing kit eliminates the leak-prone OEM primer bulb in your 2001–2016 Chevy and GMC 2500 / 3500 trucks with 6.6L Duramax diesel engines. When running an aftermarket positive displacement lift pump like the Fleece PowerFlo, this fuel primer bulb sealing kit allows you to eliminate the leak prone primer bulb from your fuel system. Bad seals in the fuel filter head cause the primer to lose the vacuum needed to pull fuel from the tank, introducing air into the fuel system that can cause hard starts and stalling.

There is variation amongst the model years, so always test first by hand to verify the thread pitch on your vehicle. This kit is only recommended if you have an aftermarket lift pump assembly.
